Flood Relief
MAHAR, active since 2016, assists disaster-affected individuals with on-ground volunteers. During Malaysia's worst flood in 2021-2022, MAHAR deployed volunteers to aid victims in reaching temporary shelters and provided post-flood support, including fundraising and cleaning efforts. International volunteers from Palestine, Yemen, Syria, and Russia contributed one month to these relief activities.

TURKIYE & SYRIA EARTHQUAKE RELIEF
In response to the powerful 7.8 scale earthquake in Syria and Turkey, MAHAR actively provided aid and assistance. They launched fundraising campaigns, raising funds for necessary items for the quake victims. Collaborating with the Malaysian Government, MAHAR delivered 42 tonnes of relief supplies to Aleppo, Syria, and collected a total of 60 tonnes of essential items as a strategic partner of the National Disaster Management Agency. Their efforts made a significant impact in supporting the affected regions.

Emergency Assisstance For Gaza
During the Israeli aggression towards Palestinians in 2021, MAHAR launched the Gaza Emergency Assistance initiative, providing food, blankets, and other necessities to victims. They also initiated the Gaza Emergency Medical Assistance Project, supplying medicines to two hospitals overwhelmed by patients due to the bombings. Additionally, the Fuels Project addressed fuel shortages at several hospitals in the Gaza Strip. These efforts supported 1,500 individuals and aided two hospitals.

Projects in Bangladesh
MAHAR, in collaboration with SEHADER, has undertaken the Water For Life project since 2017 to provide clean water to marginalized communities in rural Bangladesh. Managed by Dr. Abdullah Masud, the project established five operational wells in June 2021, benefiting over 20 families in Jessore and Satkhira. Additionally, MAHAR distributed dry food to support 100 underprivileged families during Ramadan.

Qurban, Tanzania
MAHAR implemented a seasonal assistance program in Tanga and Zanzibar, Tanzania, in conjunction with Aidiladha, benefiting a total of 11,000 individuals. They distributed qurban and aqiqah meats, collaborating with Islamic Help and Mudzalifah Islamic Charitable Organization (MICO). In 2019, MAHAR completed the Ibadah Qurban, involving 80 cows and 65 goats, benefiting 10,000 families in Tundaua, Tanga, Tanzania.

Enviromental Responsibility For All
MAHAR strongly believes in our collective responsibility to protect and maintain a clean and healthy environment. They actively organize activities such as beach cleaning and recycling campaigns to keep the beaches clean and educate local communities about the importance of environmental stewardship.
